The LuAnn Bennett for Congress campaign released the first video ad in the 2016 Virginia 10th Congressional district race with a 30-second spot highlighting the Democratic candidate’s personal history and background as a small business owner.
Entitled “Table”, the ad is the first of what is expected many in one of the Commonwealth’s most competitive congressional races.
“In business, you bring everyone to the table and work to get results. Congress just doesn’t get that,” Bennett says in the ad. “There’s too much partisanship. I approve this message because Washington needs more common sense problem solvers.”
The ad will be broadcast across the 10th District, which includes the cities of Manassas, Manassas Park and Winchester, as well as all of Clarke, Frederick and Loudoun Counties and portions of Fairfax and Prince Williams Counties.
Bennett is running against Republican Barbara Comstock, who was elected to the 10th District seat in 2014 with 56 percent of the vote.
