Shortly before 9:30 a.m. on July 25 a suspect entered the Giant Food store at 43670 Greenway Corporate Drive in Ashburn, presented a note at the pharmacy demanding prescription narcotics, and made off with an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs. A weapon was implied but not produced during the robbery and no one was injured.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s to early 30s, approximately 5’8″ to 5’10” with a slender build. He was wearing a blue sweatshirt with hoody, blue jeans, and a ball cap. He was also wearing sunglasses and white bandage tape to conceal his face, and was walking with a cane inside the store.
Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office have released a photograph of the suspect and it is posted.
