Burglary and Assault in Sterling Home

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the suspect in a burglary and assault suspect who tried to enter a Sterling residence Sept. 8.

LCSO detectives have released a composite sketch of the suspect.

According to a LCSO report, a juvenile female reported around 9 p.m. Sept. 8 she observed a male entering through the kitchen window of her residence in the 1300 block of E. Lee Road. The suspect opened the kitchen window and leaned in halfway through the window. The suspect moved further through the window and assaulted the female prior to leaving the area.

The suspect was described as a Black male, with a heavier build, in his late teens to early twenties. He was wearing a white t-shirt with writing on the front on the night of the incident. The victim reported she previously had seen the suspect in the Sterling area a few days before the incident.
