A catwalk took the place of tables Tuesday night at the Belmont Country Club. Vendors and local organizations worked booths around the room. The room was lively with people shopping and mingling at the Ninth Annual Fall Fashion Show hosted by the Business Women of Loudoun Committee.
Each year, Business Women of Loudoun chooses a beneficiary to host fundraisers for. This year, the beneficiary is Loudoun First Responders Foundation, said Tina Johnson, Chairperson of the Business Women of Loudoun.
“The goal is to raise money and awareness for the group,” she said.
Though the main event was the fashion show showcasing clothes from local stores and style advice of personal stylists, guests had the opportunity to shop and win raffle prizes. All proceeds of the raffle went to the Loudoun First Responders Foundation.
Photographer and image consultant Cyndy Porter worked as the emcee most of the night, showing off her stylings as well as giving fashion advice to the audience. Porter strives to help people show off their personalities through fashion and help them look and feel their best.
“My job is to help people discover who they are and look fabulous,” Porter said.
Clothes from Saks Off Fifth, the Doncaster Collection and Keula Binelly Couture were showcased in the show, as well as accessories from Splurge Boutique and eyewear from Eyetopia.
The next Business Women of Loudoun Committee event benefitting the Loudoun First Responders Foundation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
