UPDATE: Teenagers Charged in Sterling Armed Robbery

Update, 4:22 p.m. June 6: The third and final suspect was taken into custody the night of June 5 in connection with a June 1 Sterling armed robbery  in the area of McFadden Square.

Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office have arrested three juveniles in connection with the case. All three suspects were identified within 24 hours of the robbery and remain held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center, according to LCSO officials.

Update, 5 p.m. June 4: Two teenagers have been charged and a third juvenile has been identified in connection with the June 1 armed robber in McFadden Square in Sterling. The two suspects are charged with robbery and are at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center. The third juvenile has been identified and charges are pending, according to Sheriff’s Office officials.

Update, 2:05 p.m. June 2: A 16-year-old was charged in connection with the June 1 Sterling armed robbery in McFadden Square. The sheriff’s office continues to investigate the case and is looking for the other two suspects.

Original Story: The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery in the area of McFadden Square in Sterling.

The victims, all juveniles, reported they were walking in the area of McFadden Square around 8:20 p.m. June 1 when they were approached by three men. One of the suspects took out a gun and demanded money. The three suspects then fled the area on foot. None of the victims were injured during the incident, LCSO officials said.

All three suspects were described as black males and are believed to be between 15 to 20-years-old. The first suspect was described as being 6’ tall with a thin build. The second suspect was described as being 5’10” tall with curly hair. The third suspect was described as having a thin build.
