BREAKING NEWS: Driver Indicted in August Pedestrian Death

A Loudon County Grand Jury has indicted John Miller IV, 45 of Leesburg, on a count of involuntary manslaughter, one count of reckless driving and one count of failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk according to a release by the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.

On the morning of Aug. 31, Miller hit and killed five-month-old Tristan Schulz and seriously injured his mother. The Grand Jury heard evidence from Deputy J. McClintic of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and the majority found the evidence presented justified prosecution.

The Loudoun County Circuit Court will schedule further proceedings on the indictment at 9 a.m. Nov. 15, according to the release.
