Teen Arrested in Leesburg Stabbing

Leesburg Police detectives have arrested a 17-year-old and charged him with burglary while armed along with aggravated malicious wounding in an incident that occurred March 25.

Shortly after 3 a.m., a 9-1-1 caller reported a stabbing victim at the 800 block of Saddleback Place. The victim, a 47-year-old man, sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the stabbing. He transported himself to INOVA Lansdowne Hospital by the time the police arrived, LPD Public Information Officer Sam Shenouda said.

Detectives took the teenager into custody without incident on March 28 and continue to investigate the incident. His name is being withheld.
