The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two incidents where an unknown male groped two women in the Lowes Island/Cascades area of Sterling on March 22.

The first victim contacted LCSO saying an unknown male approached her, groped her, then fled the area, according to a release from the Sheriff’s Office.  She said the incident occurred around 8 p.m. as she was walking her dog in the area of Saulty Drive near Wilmington Drive.

A second victim reported a similar incident moments later, saying an unknown male grabbed her before letting go and running from the area.  The second victim was also walking her dog, this time on a path in the area of Whitewater Drive and Fathom Place, a few blocks away from the other reported incident.

The suspect was described as a light skinned male, possibly high-school age, 5’8” to 5’10” tall and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with athletic pants and three white stripes going down each side, according to LCSO.
