Park View Students Found Unconscious From Drug Use

Two Park View High School students were found unconscious from suspected drug use on June 6 in separate incidents.

Park View staff called the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and Rescue personnel after the students were found around 1:15 p.m. Responding deputies determined the two incidents were separate and the students were not known to each other, LCSO Public Information Officer Kraig Troxell said.

One student ingested a suspected synthetic marijuana and was found unconscious in a bathroom. The second student ingested suspected prescription medication and was already conscious and in an administrator’s office when deputies arrived.

Both students were taken to Inova Loudoun as a precaution and were discharged, Troxell said. LCSO continues to investigate and charges are pending.
