Sterling Man Charged with Strangulation, Two Counts of Rape

A Sterling man has been arrested and charged with Strangulation, Abduction and two counts of Rape in an incident that took place in the early hours of Feb. 26. The victim said she was sexually assaulted and held against her will by Marvin Otero, 43, in a a vehicle parked at the 1900 block of N. Sterling Blvd., according to a release from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. In the report, the victim said she knew her attacker.

Otero is being held at the Loudoun County Detention Center without bond.
