Authorities Seek Information About Truck Possibly Involved in Traffic Altercation

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has released a black-and-white still photo from surveillance video that shows a vehicle that may have been involved in a traffic altercation Feb. 23 that began at Evergreen Mills Road and Shreve Mill Road.

Detectives are seeking the owner of the vehicle who may have information regarding the altercation that resulted in the victim’s rear window being smashed.

The victims said they pulled onto Evergreen Mills Road from Shreve Mill Road about 8:18 p.m. when a truck began tailgating them. The driver and passenger continued to travel on Evergreen Mills Road into the Town of Leesburg when they heard a loud noise and the rear window of the vehicle shattered. The suspect vehicle was described as a four-door truck with wide side mirrors.

The exact cause of the shattered window remains under investigation. No one inside was injured. The Leesburg Police Department is assisting with the investigation.
