The Loudoun County Office of Elections has several on-site voter registration events planned for the month of September in advance of the Nov. 7 General Election.
The main race Nov. 7 is the state’s gubernatorial election. In addition, all of Virginia’s House of Delegates seats are up for re-election. Primary elections for or the House of Delegates and the governor were June 1.
The deadline to register to vote, or update an existing registration, is Monday, Oct. 16. The deadline to request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31. Your request must be received by your registrar by 5 p.m.
Absentee ballot applications will be available, plus information on the upcoming 2017 General Election. In addition, photo id’s will be made for registered voters of Loudoun for voting purposes only.
On Sept. 26 – National Voter Registration Day – the event will be at the Office of Elections in Leesburg.
