The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration’s have scheduled a Prescription Drug Take-Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 27.
The Take-Back initiative provides a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.

In addition to the Take-Back event, drug collection units are available every day at four of the LCSO stations.
The drug collection units are located at the Ashburn Station (571-258-3000), Dulles South Public Safety Center (571-258-3200), Eastern Loudoun Station (571-258-3356) and Western Loudoun Station (571-258-3750).
The Leesburg Police Department has a Drug Collection Unit available 24/7 at the Leesburg Public Safety Center, 65 Plaza Street NE in Leesburg. Drugs can be dropped off with no questions asked.
Inova Loudoun Hospital, at 44045 Riverside Parkway in Leesburg, also has a drug collection box at the South Hospital Entrance near the concierge desk.
