Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Seeking Information on Stabbing in Sterling

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information after a man reported that he was stabbed by an unknown assailant early this morning (Aug. 27) in Sterling.
According to an LCSO release, the victim said he was confronted by an unknown male who tried to take his cell phone in the 1400 block of Dinwiddie Street. The victim said the man who approached him got out of a vehicle driven by a second person.  The victim was stabbed as he attempted to flee, and he then began knocking on doors of homes in the area of West Charlotte Street. A person who stopped to provide him assistance notified authorities about 2:30 a.m.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, about 25, wearing a blue-stripped shirt with blue baggie shorts. He was about 5-feet, 8-inches tall with a heavy build.
