Seven teams and 37 participants have signed up so far for the 10th annual Walk Like MADD fundraiser for the Loudoun Mothers Against Drunk Driving chapter.
This year’s event is scheduled May 19 at Park View High School, 400 W. Laurel Ave. in Sterling. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with the 5K walk at 10 a.m.
A silent auction for gift certificates and more will occur from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Teams, individuals and vendors can register online here.
Meetings for gifted students
Meetings for parents on middle school gifted education services offered by Loudoun County Public Schools are scheduled at 7 p.m. Feb. 13 and Feb. 21 at the LCPS Administrative Offices, 21000 Education Court in Ashburn.
Resource teachers will speak about services, the screening and identification process and deadlines.
Business seminar Feb. 20
