A man wanted in Prince William County fled from Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office deputies Nov. 2 before crashing into two vehicles at Route 15 and Route 50 at Gilberts Corner.
Shawn K. Murray, 36, of Gainesville, was driving on Harmony Church Road near Hamilton about 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 2. A LCSO deputy initiated a traffic stop, but Murray tried to elude the officer and turned south on Route 15. When he approached Route 50 at Gilberts Corner, Murray sideswiped one vehicle and rear-ended another before coming to a stop.
Murray was taken into custody and charged with felony reckless driving and driving on a revoked license. He had outstanding warrants from Prince William County on felony narcotics charges.
He was being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
The driver and a passenger in the vehicle that was rear-ended by Murray were treated at a nearby hospital for minor injuries.
