Loudoun County officials announce an upcoming planned signal outage and northbound traffic shift at the intersection of Route 659 (Belmont Ridge Road) and Gloucester Parkway associated with the Route 7/659 interchange construction. This planned signal outage is scheduled to occur Monday, Nov. 5, and will include a single northbound traffic lane shift from the current northbound lane of Belmont Ridge Road onto the newly constructed northbound lane of Belmont Ridge Road just south of Gloucester Parkway.
Construction activity related to the signal work is scheduled to occur between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. as conditions permit. Law enforcement representatives will be on-site to manage traffic control and notifications while the signal is out of service. In advance of the traffic shift and signal outage, electronic message boards will be posted to advise the public of the change.
