Sheriff’s Office Seeks Information About Traffic Altercation Saturday

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a traffic altercation Feb. 23 at Evergreen Mills Road and Shreve Mill Road that resulted in one vehicle having its rear window damaged.

LCSO received a report from a the driver and passenger of a vehicle that they were involved in the incident about 8:18 p.m. on Feb. 23. They said they pulled onto Evergreen Mills Road from Shreve Mill Road when a dark-colored truck began tailgating them. The driver and passenger continued to travel on Evergreen Mills Road into the Town of Leesburg when they heard a loud noise and the rear window of the vehicle shattered.

The suspect vehicle was described as a four-door truck with wide side mirrors.

The victims said they think the window was damaged by an unknown projectile but the exact cause remains under investigation. No injuries were reported. The Leesburg Police Department is assisting with the investigation.
