Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public’s Help Identifying Suspects in Purcellville Robbery

A man reported he was assaulted and robbed while walking on Main Street in Purcellville, and the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance to help identify the suspects.

According to LCSO, the victim said he was walking in the area of the 400 block of East Main Street about 10 p.m. on Oct. 19. Two men assaulted him, stole cash from him and fled on foot. The victim was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

He described the suspects as black males, approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall and in their mid to late 20s. They were wearing dark-colored hoodies which were tight around their faces. He also said the suspects were carrying backpacks.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to contact Detective S. Coderre at 703-777-1021. Callers with any information and wishing to remain anonymous are urged to call Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. If the information leads to an arrest and indictment, the caller is entitled to a cash reward.
