Snow, Sleet Expected to Cause Slippery Roads Beginning Sunday Afternoon

Another messy winter storm is headed for Loudoun County Sunday afternoon, according to a Winter Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service.

The advisory warns that 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected, beginning about noon Sunday (March 3). The snow could change over to sleet, with the advisory in

effect until 4 a.m. Monday.

The storm is expected to cause slippery roads and limited visibility, with the heaviest accumulation Sunday afternoon and early evening.
