Supervisors Chair-At-Large Plans Rural Summit Nov. 16

Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Chair-At-Large Phyllis Randall will host a Rural Summit from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg.

According to Randall, the goal is to bring together policy experts, county officials and members of the community to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing rural Loudoun County and develop actionable methods to preserve and maintain this important region.

While citing Loudoun’s “rich agricultural heritage” and “thriving agro tourism industry,” Randall said the summit addresses the need to “maintain the critical mass of land necessary for rural Loudoun to continue long into the future.”
