Three Face Larceny Charges After Being Caught Stealing Appliances from Home Depot

Two men and a woman are facing various charges after they were caught Nov. 3 loading appliances from Home Depot in Chantilly into a box truck.

According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, the three people were arrested after deputies were called to the store in the 25000 block of Riding Center Plaza at 3:15 p.m. on Nov. 3.

Marina Aronova, 33, of Freehold, New Jersey, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit larceny, possession of a controlled substance, larceny with intent to sell, unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of paraphernalia. She was being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

Mario A. Malpica, 25, of Charlotte, North Carolina, was charged with grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny, unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of marijuana. He was being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

Jose M. Ortiz, 49, of Central Islip, New York, was charged with conspiracy to commit larceny, unauthorized use of a vehicle, larceny with intent to sell and concealing and larceny (altering tags/merchandise). He was being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
