Where is LuAnn Bennett? If she wants my vote, shouldn’t she be willing to show up and ask for it? It does not seem like too much to ask.
Mrs. Bennett has failed to show up at a number of important community events in Loudoun County. She did not attend the Leesburg-Daybreak Rotary Club’s 10th Annual Pig Roast, the Leesburg Air Show, the 9/11 memorial ceremonies in Leesburg and Purcellville, the opening of the Loudoun County Economic Development office, or the Loudoun Lyme 5k. I can’t support someone who can’t be bothered to show up.
Barbara Comstock has always made every effort to attend important community events because she wants to hear from us, she wants to be accessible to provide the highest level of constituent service. In fact, Barbara has been helpful not only to my own family when we have sought her advice, but to others in the community whenever I have suggested that they reach out to her and/or her staff for guidance on various issues that impact their families.
My mother periodically calls Barbara’s office to let her know how various events in Virginia, the US, and the world, are perceived by senior citizens. Her Chief of Staff knows my parents by name and although they do not attend many community events due to their health status, she always asks about them when she sees me.
Barbara is a regular fixture in Loudoun County. I can personally vouch for the fact that her caseworkers respond at the speed of light and when they don’t have the answer right away, they work hard to find it. Barbara is always responsive to requests and we see her frequently in Loudoun County.
I predict that Barbara Comstock will win this November hands down. I am honored to have her as my Representative.
