Virginia State Police Releases Name of Victim in Fatal Crash

The Virginia State Police has released the name of a Leesburg man who was killed March 11 in a crash in Loudoun County.

According to the VSP, Zia Ud Din, 37, of Leesburg, was driving a 2004 Lincoln Town Car on Route 606 less than a mile west of Douglas Court about 9:20 p.m. According to VSP  Trooper J.A. Cabrera, the car ran off the road and struck the rear of a tractor-trailer parked on private property.

Din died at the scene. He was wearing a seatbelt.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
