Wind Advisory Issued Wednesday for Loudoun County

The National Weather Service in Baltimore has issued a wind advisory for the Metropolitan Washington, D.C., area — including Loudoun County — for most of the day Wednesday (Nov. 28).

The advisory warns that sustained winds between 20 and 25 mph are likely from 6 a.m. to  4 p.m., with gusts between 45 and 55 mph possible.

This means winds can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Unsecured items could also be blown away, and power failures due to downed wires are possible.
